I am a housewife, a mother of two very rambunctious boys, an older sister, a daughter, a daughter-in-law, a niece, a granddaughter, an aunt, a cousin, a friend, and more. I love to bake and when I’m baking for fun, I find a lot of peace in it. I like to make things. Currently, I’m into quilting. I’ve made quilts for my mom, mother-in-law, sister, son, niece, and nephew. I’m working on one now for a neighbor’s daughter who is a new mom to a little girl who was born almost three months early. I am disheartened by the state of our education system, specifically here in High Point. I don’t feel that students learn what they should, or the facts. Rather, they learn what the government wants them to learn – whether true or false.
My husband and I wanted more of a say in what our kids were learning, and making sure that they are learning the facts. We also want to be able to teach them what we know as true, to teach them from the Bible, and build their faith. I don’t think that I know everything, or very much of anything, and I know that I’ll be re-learning a lot along with them. We’ll make mistakes along the way, I’m sure! But we’ll have some laughs and learn together. Want to laugh and learn with us? Then come on our journey with us. I hope you enjoy it and learn something as well!
Blessing to you!
